The route begins from Kionia picnic area where there is a fountain with drinking water. Below course includes pine forest and offers excellent views towards Mesaoria plain.
Starting point: Picnic area Kionia. Access from Machairas monastery road leading to Kionia or from Vavatsinia to Machairas. Ends at the Monastery of Prophet Elias, about 8 km from Lythrodontas and 6 km from Mantra tou Kampiou, accessible by dirt roads.
