The Byzantine church of Agios Antonios in Kellia probably dates back to the 9th century and is one of the most leading Byzantine churches in Cyprus.

It's registered cruciform domed (four arches forming cross and which support at their center a dome) and three wings and became very serious repairs. Because of the many transformations over the centuries, today takes the form of cross-shaped church [the arches of the roof as a cross].

There monastic until 12th aiona.Logo long-term desolation and abandonment, many of the paintings are lost. After the intercommunal riots of 1963-64 Turkish villagers convert the church into a military outpost. Maintained significant frescoes survived the 9th, 11th and 13th century.
