Lady Thetis became an artificial reef in February 2014 along with the fishing vessel Constandis.

Lady Thetis and Constandis are wrecks intentionally placed on the seabed that act as artificial reefs, shelters, reproduction area,  area for the development, and increase in numbers marine life and lastly to serve as a recreational dive site.

Lady Thetis was built in Hamburg in 1953. Initially she was named  "Reither" and she was a coastal passenger vessel. It was registered in Cyprus in 1990. It has 30.10 m length and 8m width. It lies at a depth of 18 meters (59 feet).

There are a lot of easy swim-throughs and for divers who want the extra thing a lot of penetration options with openings and exit holes. Divers have the option to swim into the vessel through the engine room towards the bridges passing by shoals of bream and cuttlefish. Qualification Required for diving at Lady Thetis is Open Water (OW).

The depth of the keel lies deeper than the actual seabed since during the sinking part of the wreck towards the keel dug into the seafloor.

Last but not least for safety reasons there is a decompression trapeze at the stern of the wreck.
