Panagia Podithou Church

Situated near the village of Galata, Panagia Podithou is an important church included on UNESCO’s World Heritage list.

Erected in 1502, it once belonged to a monastery. Its paintings are of the Italo - Byzantine style, which appeared on the island towards the end of the 15th century.
