A cluster of three bays stretching out to the west, the southwest and the southeast form the well-sheltered Makronissos Beach.
The 350 metres long by 30 metres wide beach is covered with fine golden sand. Waves are moderate. Water sports, sun bed and umbrella hire are available on site.
There are accommodation facilities, restaurants and a convenience store nearby while lifeguards are on duty with lifesaving equipment from 10:00 to 18:00 hours during the bathing season.
