Happy Island Restaurant

Established in 1986, Happy Island was one of the first restaurants to open in Poseidonos Avenue in Paphos. Since then its name has become synonymous with great food and service.

Offering a wide variety of cuisine, from classic French dishes to a taste of the Orient, Happy Island also focuses on traditional Cypriot fare with Mezes and Kleftiko being firm favorites with the restaurant's clientele.

Back in the 1990s the long-running ITV holiday show 'Wish You Were Here' paid a visit to Happy Island where Judith Chalmers, who presented the show from 1974 to 2003, was given a step by step course in the preparation of a traditional Cypriot Meze.

Paphos has changed a great deal since the family opened the restaurant three decades ago, but the warm welcome you will receive, the relaxed atmosphere you will enjoy and fabulous food you will savour never change!

The restaurant is open for you from Monday to Sunday 11:00- 23:00.
